1. Selection of belt conveyor
The selection and technical requirements of the belt conveyor should meet the regulations of GB/T10595, and meet the requirements of the operating environment, reasonable selection of bandwidth, belt speed, conveying volume, belt, conveying inclination and other requirements.
2. Preparation before starting up
1. Check the lubrication condition of each rotating part, and replenish or replace the lubricating grease in time.
2. Remove adhering debris from the surface of the conveyor belt.
3. Check the conveyor belt surface and joints, and repair damage or cracks in time.
4. Adjust the tightness of the conveyor belt and observe the deviation of the conveyor belt.
When the conveyor belt deviates, the following methods can be used to adjust it:
①Adjustment of the head roller: If the conveyor belt deflects to the right, move the left bearing frame back an appropriate distance. vice versa.
②Adjustment of the tail tensioning device: If the conveyor belt deflects to the right, according to the tightness of the conveyor belt, when the belt is loose, tighten the right adjusting screw; when the belt is tight, loosen the left adjusting screw until the tension on both sides is the same. vice versa.
③Adjustment of the upper and lower rollers: The adjustment method of the upper roller is the same as that of the head roller, and the opposite is true for the lower roller.
5. After running 30min with no load, all components should operate normally and the bearing temperature rise should not be greater than 40°C.
3. Load operation should comply with the following regulations:
1. Feed the material after starting 2min~3min without load; especially for long belt conveyors, avoid starting with load (full load) as much as possible.
2. Feed gradually, do not feed in large amounts suddenly (25-50-75-100%);
3. Feed materials evenly to prevent large pieces of material or iron parts and other debris from entering the conveyor;
4. When the belt conveyor is running, all rollers should rotate (if any roller does not rotate, the fault should be eliminated in time);
5. When shutting down, the feeding should be stopped first, and then the power should be turned off after the material transportation on standby is completed;
6. Mobile belt conveyors should be subject to lifting tests. Ensure that the support rollers move smoothly and the wire rope is coiled on the drum.
4. Common faults, causes and troubleshooting methods of belt conveyors:
Fault 1. Conveyor belt deviation
Reasons: ① The driving roller and tensioning roller are not perpendicular to the axis of the fuselage.
Troubleshooting method: Adjust the tension roller to increase the tension on the side of the tape that is deviating, and the tape moves to the side with smaller tension.
②Materials adhere to the surface of the roller.
Troubleshooting method: Check and clean the drum frequently.
③The feed is uneven or the material flow is irregular.
Troubleshooting method: Rearrange the feed pipe or guide trough to make the feeding direction consistent and centered with the conveyor belt movement direction.
④ Deviation when no-load, but can be corrected after loading.
Troubleshooting method: Adjust the initial tension appropriately.
⑤The tape itself is not bent straight or the joints are incorrect.
Troubleshooting method: Cut the connector straight and reconnect it.
Fault 2. Conveyor belt slipping.
Reasons: ① Insufficient tape tension.
Troubleshooting method: Adjust the tension wheel to tighten the tape. (Add counterweight, or use hydraulic tensioning to increase tensioning force setting)
② The bearing is not flexible.
Troubleshooting method: Disassemble and clean, refuel or replace.
③Conveyor overload
Troubleshooting method: Adjust the conveyor.
Fault 3: Tape torn.
Reasons: ① Sharp foreign objects are mixed into the material flow.
Troubleshooting method: Strengthen cleaning and remove foreign matter in time.
②The tape is running off track and the parts are stuck in the joints.
Troubleshooting method: Correct the deviation.
Fault 4: Bearing overheated.
Reasons: ① Lack of lubricating oil or dirt in the bearing.
Troubleshooting method: Add lubricating oil and clean the bearings.
② Improper installation.
Troubleshooting: Reinstall.
③The bearing bush is worn or the balls are damaged.
Troubleshooting method: Replace with new bearings.
Fault 5: The roller does not rotate.
Reasons: ① Dust accumulation in the lubricating oil causes the bearings to become clogged and the idler rollers to stop rotating.
Troubleshooting method: Regularly inspect and lubricate or replace.
③The tape does not contact the roller.
Troubleshooting method: Adjust the roller in place.
Fault 6: Material is thrown away.
Reason: ① Overloading.
Troubleshooting method: Adjust the loading capacity.
②The feeding is incorrect.
Troubleshooting method: Adjust the feeding method.
5. Maintenance should comply with the following regulations
1. Main components such as drums, idlers, and bearings should be checked regularly for wear and tear, whether the fixing bolts and nuts are loose, and whether the machine parts are broken, cracked, or bent. If any parts are damaged, they should be repaired or replaced in time.
2. Prevent the tape from coming into contact with gasoline, diesel, engine oil and other greasy substances, and avoid exposure to sunlight and rain to ensure its service life.
3. Check 1 times every 3 month to 6 month. After using 1 years, it should be overhauled 1 times and replace damaged and excessively worn parts. Strengthen daily inspection, marking, replacement and maintenance! ! !
4. Lubricate regularly according to the instructions for use.
