Commonly used methods to adjust bearing radial clearance are as follows:

1. The side clearance of cylindrical and elliptical bearing bushes can be adjusted by manual scraping or by scraping and scraping the middle surface of the bearing with pad turning.

2. The top clearance of cylindrical and oval bearings can be adjusted by manual scraping or by adding padding to the middle plane of the bearing when circumstances permit.

3. For multi-oil wedge fixed bearings, in principle, it is not allowed to repair and adjust the bearing gap. If the gap is not suitable, new shoes should be replaced.

4. For multi-oil wedge tilting bearings, it is not allowed to repair and scratch the pads. If the gap is not suitable, the pads should be replaced. For tiles with adjustable thickness, the amount of tiles can be adjusted by adding a stainless steel pad under the adjustment block behind the tile, or by thinning the thickness of the adjustment block. Note that for multiple oil wedge tiltable bearing pads, the thickness error between pads in the same group should be less than 0.01mm.
