The harm of reducer brake oil leakage is huge. Because when an oil leakage failure occurs, the brake cannot obtain sufficient opening pressure, the winch reducer will be in the braking state, and the machine will jam. At this time, the hydraulic system is in the open state, and the hydraulic motor will have continuous output, because the load of the hydraulic system determines the pressure of the system. At this time, the pressure of the hydraulic system will increase sharply, and a stall will occur, causing a series of problems such as internal leakage and heating, and even damage to hydraulic system components.
In the case of a double winch reducer, if the brake of one reducer is blocked or incompletely opened due to oil leakage, it can easily cause the paired reducer to be overloaded, break the teeth and damage the reducer, which will require a shutdown and replacement of parts, resulting in huge losses.

Maintenance method for oil leakage and oil leakage of reducer brake: Use retaining ring - spring pressure plate - large and small springs - motor coupling shaft - piston - adjusting gasket - fixed friction plate - dynamic friction plate to disassemble the hole in the large flange in order. And check each wearing part. If there is any damage, replace it with a new one and install it in reverse order according to the above parts. When installing the brake pads, please pay attention to the installation sequence of the east deflection plate and the stator plate.

How to disassemble the piston
1. When disassembling the piston, use a special tool - a pin puller to repeatedly pull out the piston from the two process threaded holes on the piston. The force should not be too strong to prevent the piston from tilting and squeezing the joint surface of the seal and the piston shell to produce marks.
2. If there is no process threaded hole on the piston or there is no special pin puller, you can use a clean cloth to cover the piston to prevent the hydraulic pressure from penetrating and the piston from falling off on the car plate. The piston is slowly ejected by supplying pressure oil to the brake.
How to remove the X-shaped sealing ring
When replacing the sealing ring on the piston housing, first use a blunt-tipped tool to remove the X-ring and nylon retaining ring, then put the new X-ring and nylon retaining ring together and stretch them slightly. The X-ring is sandwiched between the two nylon retaining rings. At the same time, install them into the sealing groove together. When replacing the sealing ring on the piston, first use a tool with a blunt tip to remove the X-ring and nylon retaining ring, then install the two nylon retaining rings into the sealing groove in sequence, and finally install the X-ring as shown in the picture above.
How to install the piston
When installing the piston, place a special protective sleeve on the piston, tap it lightly with a copper or aluminum rod, and assemble the piston in place evenly. (If there is no special protective sleeve, you can use a copper rod or aluminum rod to directly tap it to make it evenly stressed and assembled in place)
The value of a small brake seal is only a few hundred yuan. When experienced operators and maintenance workers observe and confirm that the reducer brake is leaking oil, they can use the method introduced in this article to stop the machine for online repair and replace the brake seal, which can be quickly and properly handled.
